RSI Habitat for Humanity Build

RSI Habitat for Humanity Build

Our Right! Systems team took part in the Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity Build on December 6th, 2019. This build was a wonderful opportunity to give back to those in need within the community. Our team was hard at work at Tyler Court, Habitat for Humanity’s newest neighborhood in Pierce County. Tyler Court consists of 11 affordable homes that are being built in the unincorporated Pierce County area of Midland.

Our team helped grade the lot around house three in preparation for sod and plants in Tyler Court. We also cleared house four of debris and other garbage in preparation for insulation and drywall, and we cleaned the streets to keep the mud out of the storm drains. It was a day filled with hard work, but it was worth it for such a great cause. Watch our highlights from the day below!

Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity has been building in the community since 1985. They are committed to transforming neighborhoods, fighting blight, and advocating for fair and just housing policies, all while increasing access to affordable homeownership for hard-working families and providing access to resources so homeowners can improve their communities.

Volunteering on a Habitat Build Site is truly heartwarming. We are very proud to be able to take part in activities like this, where not only are we bonding with our co-workers, but also providing a service for those in need. We hope to continue this philanthropic trend in the new year and for many years after that!
